Level Two
Intermediate Apprenticeship Bench Joinery
Apprenticeships are a mix of work and learning whilst getting paid a wage. You will normally work on site for 4 days and attend ACE 1 day per week. The Apprenticeship takes a minimum of 12 months to complete and will typically take 18-24 months.
This apprenticeship includes learning how to set up and safely operate equipment such as a circular saw, production of setting out details, and marking out from setting out details for bench joinery products and manufacture of a range of bench joinery products
You will work towards an NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Wood Occupations, Level 2 Diploma in Bench Joinery, Functional Skills Level 1 in English and Maths and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
Level Three
Advanced Apprenticeship Bench Joinery
The Advanced Apprenticeship is the next step after an Intermediate Apprenticeship and is aimed at skilled workers and staff members who are likely to take more responsible roles within the company and/or take on more specialist or independent work.
The Advanced Apprenticeship takes approximately a year to complete.
You will work towards an NVQ Diploma Level 3 in Wood Occupations, Level 3 Diploma in Bench Joinery and Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths.
