ACE Training is a college, but it’s very different to a classroom environment

Training with ACE is a journey towards a career in construction. Our job is to assist our learners into their chosen careers with the skills they need to succeed in life and work.

Construction courses at ACE are taught by tutors with recent and extensive industry experience, in specialist workshops, simulating a real work situation.

With a high ratio of tutors to students our learners get more attention, achieve more and progress quicker. We have a proven track record in helping students who underachieved at school quickly gain qualifications in English and Maths, and apply these skills well in the workplace.

ACE takes its learners seriously and each student has an individualised programme with learning support as necessary and individual targets for progression.

The tutors know that some students need more time and input to achieve their qualification, while others can quickly move to more advanced programmes and into employment.

Achievement at ACE is outstanding, with above an above average percentage of apprentices completing their training within planned timescales at both intermediate and advanced levels.

In our most recent Ofsted inspection (published December 2016), inspectors found that learners on our pre-apprenticeship Study Programme “achieve high rates of sustained progression to apprenticeships, employment and further education.”

We help students on our Study Programmes with job applications and introductions to employers, getting students started in paid employment in their chosen trades. If you chose ACE Training we promise to do our utmost to get you into paid employment at the end of your course.

ACE Training is committed to treating all colleagues, clients, students and visitors fairly, and operates a zero tolerance approach to unjustifiable discrimination on any grounds.  ACE promotes British Values (defined by Ofsted as Democracy, Rule of Law, Individual liberty and Respect & Tolerance) to all students, and we welcome everyone with different faiths and beliefs.
