Our Apprentice Training Co-ordinator Sorcha will be taking part in a Careers Education event taking place today at Henry Box school in Witney for Year 7-13s. The school are changing the way they approach career development, which includes mixing all year groups together.

So all pupils from Years 7-13 will be involved in career themed activities relevant to the career decisions they are making (GCSE choices, Post 16 choices, etc) but also be stretching and inspiring.

Sorcha will take place in a Human Library session with a number of other professionals from a variety of sectors, which gives pupils the chance to listen to ask people in industry questions about their experiences and backgrounds.

This is also a great way for us to learn more about what students think about our industry and the world of work in general.

Our monthly Saturday Open mornings begin again next month and we’re pleased to let you know all the dates from the remainder of the year. Of course, we are always happy to organise appointments for visitors at other times to suit but our monthly open mornings have proven really useful for prospective students and employers to come and have a look around and talk to our team.

If you’d like to make an appointment to come and see us at another date and time, just get in touch and we’d be happy to arrange this for you.
